Château du Levant
Château du Levant is the second wine of Château Liot, a family-owned estate located in Barsac, in the heart of the Sauternes appellation. The estate has been in the David family for several generations and is today run by a new generation continuing the family’s long-standing winemaking tradition.
The vineyards are planted on the distinctive limestone-based soils of Barsac, well suited to producing elegant and fresh sweet wines. Château du Levant is made from selected grapes from the estate, primarily Sémillon complemented by Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. It offers an approachable expression of Sauternes, combining ripe fruit, floral and honeyed notes with freshness and balanced sweetness. As the second wine of Château Liot, it reflects the character and terroir of the estate in a more accessible and fruit-driven style.
